No it is not a compact photo, just the usual size!!!
They are rather compact looking appliances, i don't
know what the wheelbase is but it is quite short.
Ideal for Bath City.

They're quite short Metz ladders too, only 27m.

Thanks for the reply. I suppose quite handy for older narrower streets. As for our (Taysides) CARPS only 28m compared to an ALP.

Wheelbase is 3825mm, overall length (basket in driving position) from tip of the basket to the rear is 8550mm, height is 3300mm.
Chassis is a MAN TGM 15.290 4x2 with a 213 kW (290 HP) Euro 5 engine, automatic transmission with retarder. Crew is 1+1.
It's also equipped with an 8 kVA generator.
Max weight is 15 tons

The Magirus 24M and Metz 27M ladders are becoming quite popular among European brigades, because they are easier to manuver than 30-32M ladders, and almost as useful. Darlington had a 27M Morris Magirus when I was growing up there, and there was never any complaint that it came up short.

Bristol Bob , is the third TL going to 09 Temple replacing the 03 tl? and is Speedwells hp still on the run ?

Hi Simon, as far as I know the 3rd TL is for Temple, and the HP is still on the run.

Simon, to clarify, Bath have the 03 TL, Weston and Temple have M and N reg ones.
