When we arrived at the Karlsruhe fire station West and saw this Incident Command Unit our reaction was.... Wow.... Amazing to see such a vehicle. It was built in 2005/2006 by Ziegler on a Neoplan N44 26 / Ü 3 chassis. On top there is the conference room, on the ground floor the Control room operators will be working. License plate KA- 2009

Now that is a commanding sight! It is about three times the size of most city's ELW 2s - and Karlsruhe is not really all that big a city, with 300, 000 people - about a tenth the size of Berlin...
