Pretty standard modern urban pumper, on a 14 tonne 255 HP chassis. Note the characteristic powered roof rack for ladders, suctions and pike poles, first introduced - and now almost universal - in the Netherlands.

These typically are crewed by seven firefighters, a larger detail than in most other countries - except Germany, which still often has nine crew members on pumpers manned by volunteers.

Despite being the home of DAF trucks, the Netherlands has a lot of German and Swedish fire trucks, and years ago they also bought large numbers of both British and American ones...
