Typical powered roof rack for ladders, ceiling hooks and suctions. Pioneered in the Netherlands, where quick access to suction hoses is a necessity, because open water is very often a highly favored and readily available alternative to a hydrant.

These are operated electrically, hydraulically, or by the air brake system - and have a redundancy in case of any failure of one method.

But you need to make sure the trees are trimmed!

I bet I could get a length of suction out of a compartment and connected whilst this 'contraption' is still thinking about working !!
