My photo picture 25453 shows this lovely vehicle in its present state......I came across it in a field in Cheshire last year....the owner will not sell it, he thinks its worth a fortune because of the registration plates.....but he is misguided....the doner vehicle needs to be in test to donate the number.
In its day this was quite a vehicle, responding to certain RTAs as well as being a Recovery Vehicle for out of service appliances. This was photographed in the days when Framwellgate Moor had 3 x WrLs, TL, HP85', CU, CaV, BdL, Water Relay Unit, and then gained the BAT as well. They had to build a second appliance room, they had so many machines on the run.

That's a shame! It would be lovely to see it restored.
It certainly would Dermot.......I know a couple of people who would love to take it on....the man wont budge though.... After Durham disposed of it....the machine went to Hull as a recovery vehicle for a garage (whos logo can be seen on my photo)
