Originally a demonstrator for Carmichael, this 1986 Scania G92M/Bronto was subsequently purchased by the Cheshire brigade & served at Chester & Stockton Heath. Purchased by the NZ Fire Service it was allocated to Christchurch but suffered several mechanical issues. It was withdrawn from service in 2008 & languished at NZ Fire Service HQ in Kilbirnie until 2011 when it has apparantly been substantially rebuilt & reregistered & will return to service as a relief aerial for the South Island.
