New Zealand DAF - ELY999

Originally intended to be the second example to be built this became the first of 17 examples to enter service with the NZ Fire Service as hazmat/command units. The first unit was destroyed by fire before it was completed. This 2007 example is based in Christchurch. Following the February earthquake 7 of these appliances were based in the city. All are based on the DAF LF55 chassis.
