It's MINE! 1964 Mack C95.

... and a partner's. I own half of this magnificent 1964 Mack C95F, ser. #1230. We bought it from Tri-Com Vol. FD in Collegedale, Tennessee. Which half is mine? I guess the left side since I got to drive it away to our storage place. It runs good, but it is an old, unsyncronized transmission. You have to double clutch her to shift gears. She was originally delivered to a Fire Dept. somewhere in New Jersey. Tri-Com bought it from them and rebuilt her to the current configuration. We hope to incorporate her into the Railroad Museum's rolling stock to be used to wash down sidewalks, etc.

Drop by anytime! As an added bonus, she is stored at the railroad museum I work at. I'll give you a train ride too.

We did find out who purchased her originally. The Bend Brook, NJ FD took delivery of this Mack in Dec. of 1963. She is still considered a '64 model however. And we are still looking for info on her. Any photographs of her in action or parades would be nice to have during her restoration. Please let me know if there are any out there! Thanks.

I'm a train buff too brother, so am putting on my 'things to do' list before I head to the great abode above!! Thanks mate, be seeing you. Pat, you got a lot of mail to catch up with when your ferry is laid up for the season!
