This is a 1935 Fordson that solely served the city of Wellington as a salvage tender. It is now restored as part of the Ferrymead Museum collection.

A really elegant example of custom bodywork from the mid thirties. Beautiful design and excellent workmanship, and a tribute to the team who did this restoration.

This Fordson is by no means the only reason the Ferrymead museum is on my bucket list, but unfortunately it is not exactly next door to Chicago!

Maybe they could arrange an exchange plan - so they can temporarily swap a few exhibits from time to time with the Hall of Flame in Phoenix, Arizona?

Wishful thinking!
