This is a 1976 D1618 with Wormald bodywork that was the last appliance ordered by the Christchurch Metropolitan Fire Board before the formation of the New Zealand Fire Service. It was subsequently allocated to a number of South Island brigades and is shown shortly after its return to Christchurch prior to disposal.
