This 1966 VAKS model was assembled in the UK by Carmichael. It served the Christchurch metropolitan fire board and various Canterbury brigades. It came into the care of the Ferrymead Museum & was restored in time for the 150th jubilee of the Christchurch fire brigade in October 2010.
