Simon-LTI 100ft Tractor Drawn Aerial

One of the last aerial devices to be manufactured in the states under the Simon brand. Willow Grove (PA) Ladder 10 now boasts a new tractor following the crash of the original machine.

Willow Grove, PA. purchased this 1994 Duplex/LTI 110' tillered aerial from the Arlington County, VA FD in 2000. Arlington County had used it as a reserve rig only, the aerial trailer was actually purchased first, but the existing reserve aerial tractor (a converted 1986 IHC S-1900 4-DR)was too underpowered to pull the new trailer. Duplex was then contracted with for a suitable aerial tractor.No wreck damage was involved.
The warning devices were added by the Willow Grove VFD.
