Plano Texas Truck 177, a year 2000 American LaFrance Eagle with 100 foot Smeal rearmount ladder and General bodywork.
This photo was taken in Sept 2006 during a five day long "ride along" with the dept.
Those UK members who are familiar with the appliances of Devon Fire and Rescue Service (now Devon and Somerset FRS) may recognise the red stripe with "seat belts and smoke detectors save lives", this being one of the results of joint working between the two services.
