we attended one of the local primary school fairs today but typically the Scottish summer weather prevented us from doing the hose display ( a usual favourite of the kids ).
She remains the oldest operational frontline machine in L&B's fleet. Was due to have been replaced last month but due to the new Combi pumps being returned to manufacturer, she was not replaced by the expected 05 reg machine. Instead, depending on budgetary constraints next year, she is due to be replaced July 2009 by which time she will have reached 15 years of operational service.
I really like the P93's. Strathclyde still have quite a few L - P reg appliances. Its not a rare sight to see them working in the city either!

sadly N306 is currently off the run awaiting some much needed repairs to the pump and other bits and pieces. the pump is needing replaced but we are unsure whether they will take the pump from the training school machine that had a slight mishap or another motor. currently running with N303 the reserve machine.
Was behind N305 FSG in Gorgie Road, Edinburgh at the end of October. It was still fully kitted out (heading from Sighthill to Tollcross?) Still in use as a reserve machine?
