L&B also have 3 operational TL`s in Edinburgh as well as the HP. They have an S reg Scania / Metz TLthat they bought new which is based at Crewe Toll ( pics posted of it on here by myself ) they also have 2 second hand TL`s that they have bought from Mid and West Wales that are E and G regs, they are also Scania / Metz TL`s and are at Tollcross and Sighthill. ( The one at sighthill is not yet operational, but will replace a Volvo/ Metz TL that was bought from the Isle of Man FRS) L&B have bought about 7 second hand TL`s in the last 10 years or so, two have just been bought for spares and never used operationally but all the others have.
L&B also bought two Scania / Multistars but they were withdrawn due to safety issues and they are now getting the booms removed and will be used as driver training appliances.

This machine has not been seen at home station for about two months now, it also looks like the dims unit runs from McDonald road.

Think I have made a wrong call here it's not the dims unit at McDonald road I will get the full vehicle type and ben this weekend. The Ariel is now back.

Again this machine has not been at home station for a while and grampian white hp has been at mc road.

I saw this machine today heading up Lothian rd on blues heading up tollcross area.

Is this SS263 a rechassis and if so what was the original chassis?

If you look up Graeme Kirkwood's website under Lothian&Border's page under McDonald Road you will see there was a D reg Dodge G16 had the SS263 booms before the Scania.
