This photograph shows on the left a 1965 AEC Mercury/Merryweather 100ft TLP, in the middle is a 1937 Leyland/Metz 101ft TLP, and on the right is another AEC Mercury/Merryweather TLP, this one being from 1962.

This picture neatly illustrates London's switch in 1963 from the older standard two-door crew cab design to the modified chassis with full forward control and a more conventional four door cab. I believe 18 of these were supplied to London from 1963 to 1965. Merryweather also supplied a number of dual purpose pumps with the same four-door configuration.
