The business end of a vintage TL, showing in no particular order, the ring to increase engine revs and oil pressure, extension and elevation indicators, strain gauges, standard inclinometer, ladder controls for elevation/depression, training left/right and extend/housing, telephone to the headman, hand plumbing wheel, ground control lines and ladder locking mechanism... a fantastic machine...

Hi Mike! To follow the ladder round, they had to creep on ther knees, or lay flat on the belly! The handwheel on the end, is for changing the bottom part of the ladder, a few degrees to left or to right.When the first Magirus and Metz ladders got a swingchair for the operator, this stile of controls still in use!
