Engine 201 Volunteer Fire dept Whittier Alaska

When I passed the harbour in Whittier (Alaska) I saw these fire men and their fire engine at work with some hydrants. So I had to stop for some pictures. The fire engine is a E-One and has Engine 201 as call sign. License plate is XXK 586. See also picture 29017

Great pictures with amazing background. I was in Alaska for 3 weeks while working at E-One (doing some repairs) and loved it there. Beautiful country.

Joel, you are right. Alaska is just amazing. I've driven across the Final Frontier for 3 weeks and saw great nature, lovely wildlife and some great Fire trucks. And the Fire crew everywhere were really nice and I was very welcome for a visit.
