1936 Leyland/Metz TLP 101ft Turntable Ladder.

As the sun sets on Friday 5th August,2011 at the Odiham Fire Show,held on Saturday and Sunday 6th&7th August was this 1936 Leyland/Metz TLP 101ft Turntable Ladder(reg-AVB1)owned by Bob Peters and Mike Cotton.
The appliance served the Croydon County Borough Fire Brigade until 1963,then the London Fire Brigade until 1968.

Pete thanks for the comments, although I must just correct one thing. Bob, I and others are merely custodians on behalf of the Harleyford Estate and the Fire & Police Museum Sheffield. Bob, Mike Hebard, Tim Nicholson, Paul Morgan and myself have all been involved in re-commissioning this appliance, and we are now planning our next move, now that it is roadworthy once more.
