Carmichael Crashtender M879VFS "Fire 5", caught during a live incident at Edinburgh Airport when this Belgian Defence A310 developed a fire in the port engine on landing. The incident immediately saw a full response from the airport's fire service, although the fire had been extinguished prior to their arrival at the scene. After inspection, the aircraft was able to taxi using its own power under the watchful eye of the fire trucks. Also visible are the Mitsubishi Shogun of "Fire 1" and "Fire 4", one of two Carmichael Cobra 2s. The other Cobra 2 ("Fire 3") is out of shot in front of the aircraft together with "Fire 2", a Scania Carmichael. Taken September 9, 2007.
