Hi, whats a SQURT - is it a spelling mistake? Maybe squirt?

Either a great pic or a great truck, she looks like she is gleaming.

I always asked myself but both spelling are correct, SQURT or SQUIRT!
Cheers

A "squirt" is an articulated boom with a monitor at the tip. Usually in the 50' to 65' range, with the monitor being rated @ 1000gpm. It is not equipped to act as a ladder or carry firefighters aloft, but is used solely to deliver water either in a fog or straight stream.

Hi, I knew what a squirt was, but just wondered about the odd spelling.

Squrt (no "i") is a trade name for that particular model of articulated boom. Google it -- you'll see what I mean.
