That's a GMC chassis. Compare with #3764.

This was G830 PNX - the only one of the three with Reynolds-Boughton bodywork. They were very fast vehicles, the only trouble was stopping them !

It looks a little tail heavy. These US trucks had very light power steering in any case. How often did the front wheels lift off the road? Or did anyone notice?

Rob: It's accentuated by the fact that Hebburn has a very steeply sloped apron - they were not all that tail heavy realy - but it was still a job stopping them !
