Littlehampton & Findon at east Preston
A slightly different picture to say Farewell to Findon - Findons Dennis Rapier V741 FCR alongside Littlehamptons Dennis Sabre HX04 WGE at the East Preston open day last Summer. Findon regularly attended Open days in and around the Worthing area to provide an extra attraction and manpower. East Preston lost it's 2nd WTL, Rapier R335 SPO on January 17th 2011, shortly after Littlehampton became Variable crewed, and now only runs a single Dennis Sabre, (HY53 AAF) plus the Red Cross Fire victim support unit, moved from Littlehampton. The Worthing area has lost 2 pumps (Lancing & East Prestons 2nd appliances) in addition to the closure of Findon on March 31st 2011.
