Brandweer Boskoop Magirus Deutz HV
This Rescue unit was in service with the Fire brigade Boskoop in the Netherlands. It was built by Motorkracht in 1979 on a Magirus Deutz 90D6.5F chassis. It went out of service in 1997. License plate is 37-PB-99. It was later converted into a camper.

A Magirus 90 pump built around an identical van body appeared at the 1977 International Commercial Vehicle Show in Amsterdam. It had a 1600 LPM pump, a 1000 liter tank and a nine seat crew cab.
After Magirus joined Iveco, they began to market this series of Fiat light and medium trucks and vans as an additional fire appliance alternative for brigades who were otherwise buying units on Opel Blitz or Mercedes 6-11 ton chassis.
The design was originally built by OM in Italy, before it merged into Fiat before the creation of Iveco.
Although Magirus was a very well established and highly regarded fire appliance manufacturer, these light and medium OM pumps, rescues and compact aerials were not particularly popular.
They were of course deployed in huge numbers by the VdF in Italy, and quite often by the BSPP and various SDIS in France, badged at different times as OM, Fiat or Iveco...
