The usual standard seating arrangement in the Netherlands on a pumper is for seven crew, with two individual rear facing diagonal seats immediately behind the driver and officer positions - which explains the longer B pillar than we would see on a five or six seat crew cab.
One result of this is that on the 3.4 meter wheelbase chassis the front equipment locker is much shorter than on a standard British pump with the same dimensions. This is partly offset by having full height side lockers - extra space freed up by installing the suction hoses on the powered roof rack along with the ladders, rather than in tunnels in the upper area of the rear body. This installation also makes them more easily removed, which is an important factor in a country where accessing the numerous open water sources is a very common firefighting SOP.
This has the old Dutch livery, with the broad white stripe, similar to treatments in the DDR, Singapore and some US fire departments at the time. The unpainted rear body is redolent of UK practice - durable but not very attractive looking.
