hello can anyone give me any info on people who restor these fire engines? We have just brought a AEC 1962 fire engine. Its the one with a turnable ladder on top. Any information would be great ful

IN the 1960s Essex ran a fleet of 100% Dennises with Rolls-Royce petrol engines, except for two AEC Merryweather diesel TLs and two diesel Leyland Firemaster ET-Ps. I do not know why they did not choose Dennis chassis for these four units, to keep the fleet standard.
