Hereford TL.466. H&WFB 1983

This is the old Hereford TL call sign 466, I took in the drill yard in October 1983.It was a time when these machines had real character I think. I have a few more pictures of it with ladders extended.

I always thought that the firm which built the crew cabs for these Bedford TK Merryweather ladders did a really excellent job, even though by this time very few fire brigades staffed them with more than the three people who could fit into the standard two door factory cab.
