This fire tanker belongs to the Dadar fire station. Since the Bycalla (HEAD OFFICE OF FULL MUMBAI CITY) is the only station which has a work shop in the city side the tender had been send 4 a its routine maintainance.

This water tanker is mounted on the Tata truck chassis.

Closely modeled on the 1970s Mercedes F series. As in other third world cities, large capacity tankers like these 2, 500 IG units are often needed to cope with urban structure fires, due to a lack of readily available water supplies from hydrant networks.
