A 4x4 medium rescue truck on a commercial chassis and an aerial quint - representing just about the maximum firefighting and rescue capabilities you can combine into only two vehicles at a reasonably low cost.

This Canadian city of 83, 000 inhabitants operates out of three fire stations. Station 2 also has a pumper, whose fascia is just visible behind the rescue truck.
