Dimensions L6, 5 W2, 35 H3, 30
6 seats (but will be armed with a crew of 4)
Pump 1000 litres/min 15bars
Tank 1800 litres

Small pumpers like these are pretty much compulsory in many French towns, simply because anything larger cannot always get near structure fires in many older built up areas - a similar challenge as in Japan and some other southern European countries with narrow streets, steep hills and enclosed courtyards

In most cases they share quarters with a "full size" pumper, which in France carries either a six or even eight person crew.

As well as being dispatched into parts of town with difficult access problems, they are also sent to minor incidents, small fires and car fires, where their limited capacities and small crew are likely to be all that is needed. Because they have a four person crew, they can also - if necessary - initiate an interior fire attack or rescue using BA (two in/two out).

I use the word "person" because in France close to 20% of all firefighters are female - probably one of the highest ratios anywhere...
