Fire Engines Photos

This is GGK 946 and I have a shot that I took of it in 1963-1964, of it when in use as a training appliance with London. I'l dig it out and post asap.

This Dennis/Merryweather(TL32/MW39)was from 1940(NFS-order)and served at Euston Fire Station until 1964, then replaced in 1964 with a new 1964 AEC/Merryweather 100'TL(reg-CYE244C)which saw service till 1986.Following its active service at Euston, the appliance(GGK946)was placed on the reserve fleet and used as a training vehicle until finally going out of service in 1965.
Ian, I for one look forward to seeing your picture of how she once looked back in her glory days.

Ian and Pete I too would like to see photos of GGK 946 in her glory days. . I recently found three, but I am sure there are more out there. A mechanic is presently working on her to get her running.....
