Fire engine 581 feeling unwell

N306 FSG receiving some care from the on-call mechanic. We had noticed fluid leaking from the gearbox whilst at a call to a shrubland fire so had to get mechanic out. Resulted in us swapping N306 for L283 whilst the proper 581 goes into the workshops.

sorry didn't have much time come the change-over as it was getting dark by then. we waited over an hour for the on-call mech to come over. hoping to have the proper 581 back by tonight (wednesday).

N306 still lying outside L&B workshops at Newbridge this weekend (16/12/12). It has been there for many months, if not longer now.

Davey, I believe the pump is totalled on N306 from what the mechs at workshops were saying.
