Fire Engines Photos

Compared to a full sized water tender, what made this appliance different? What equipment did it carry less of? What was its pump and tank size? Was it a 1st away or other? Thanks for any information.

In 19/87 this Bedford Fire Appliance was handed over to a new established fire crew in crossmaglen N/Ireland. It was new with 341mls on the clock, it reg was CDZ 8285 . Its first fire call was on 17/7/87 with its retained crew . The equipment that you see on the appliance is near to what is on the equipment check list that was done on the 30/12/87. The appliance spent a few years at that station before going to bragade hq for driving training . Sold to Dublin Civil Defence .It was them for a few years before it was sold to me on the 10/10/02 with 15444 on the clock. I did some repairs and repainted it red as it was yellow.The appliance is as you see her now and is lifting and pumping , it holds 200 gls of water. It used to have 13.5 on the roof but I changed it to a 10.5 .
