I think this was originally registered YTU 390, which would make it the former Hi-Ex foam unit at Stalybridge.

In 1960-61 one of these turned up at an overturned parrafin tanker near Greasby on the Wirral (Hoylake's ground) I was told it was Ellesmere Port's. It brought the heavy lifting gear ie a wooden box full of Blackhawk or similar hydraulic rams etc with a hand pump. The box was slung in the back not properly stowed. I seem to remember it was a L4P or L4T.
