Fire Engines Photos

Hey Jean-Paul what in the world would a fire truck with 2 jet engines be used for? I am truly amazed at this? Can you tell me why the Belgian Government bought this rig, what it is used for and how it puts out fires and also which Belgian fire brigade does it belong to? With thanks from Tiger.

Not mistaken the fire engines with Jet engines are used to deliver water or foam in a strong stream to areas where it is out of reach for water monitor or fire hoses.

The distance of water delivered by jet engine is much longer that by traditional water monitors.
The difference between an original idea from Russia (more exactly USSR, 1966) and Zikun is:
1 and 2 used jet engines;
water monitors are installed at the sides of jet engine and upper of jet engine (water is used more effective).

Who's this manufacturing company? Do they still produce them? Do you have their contact information available?
