On the Fire engine site there are not many pictures of German fire trucks. I've searched on my computer, and found some nice pictures.
Schüttorf is a town just over the Dutch border. In Germany the fire engines are standard, you'll find not many exotic types.
This Mercedes Benz 1222 Loschgruppenfahrzeug (Water tender ) has a Ziegler bodywork. Pumpcapacity is 1600 l/m and a watertank of 12 litres. It was built in 1999.

It´s no water Tender, it´s a pumper ! German pumpers "Löschgruppenfahrzeug" carries 1000 to 1600 l water, German water tenders "Tanklöschfahrzeuge" in this class carries 2400 to 3000 l water. German pumpers have a nine - man crew, german water tenders a six - man crew.
