The DIN 10/6 designation light pumper is intended for volunteer fire companies mainly serving small towns and suburban sections of large cities. This example is the 4X4 version, which has fairly decent off-road capabilities, although it easily gets left behind by the Unimogs. For serious wildland firefighting, it is also compromised by its small 600 liter tank, and needs to be backed up by one or more units with more water.
