Dennis Light 4 BPN698 - Newhaven
A 1939 Dennis Light Four built on an Ace chassis. I saw this on the 21st August at Bentley. It served at Newhaven, and is still in immaculate condition and sounded surpurb! See #7141 for it's sister appliance! I've also posted a rear shot for those that like to see the business end!

Sorry, when I took the photo a couple of years ago, I wanted some info to add the comments. At that time I was guided by two well circuled books, one show's the very same Dennis, and both say that model was built on an Ace chassis. I now have a third book that says it's a Light 4 - you shouldn't always take what you read as being correct. Having seen the above Dennis again last weekend, I'm very impressed by it!
