Nice looking pumper and still in great condition judging by the photograph , it was engine 61 of the pleasanton fire service and was build number 1579 chassis laid down in november 1968 and completed with body in february 1969 delivered shortly after , very popular in california as they were built in los angeles , crown coach co closed down due to the downturn in demand for school buses which were the core business of the company , very durable appliances and there are some still in service

It's in excel ant condition apart from little bits of rust on the chrome work here and there and some of the lights don't work. We have been taken it to truckfest Scotland for the past three years and it has won best fire appliance from 1966 to 1985 in 2008 and 2010.
