At the risk of starting another "dayglow" debate, the L-DDB Batch were delivered in this livery. The last Dennis WrL's delivered in dayglow were the A-JDB batch. I agree that the Dodges were delivered in dayglow as were the early Leyland Freighters. I think the changeover was in the H-FBA deliveries.

The first non day glow appliances in Greater Manchester were in fact the K---ANC Renault Midliner/HCB-Angus WrLs.

Actually after sleeping on it I realise the E-WND batch of Dennis SS were the last "dayglow" Dennis delivered.

The cut off was actually around H383/4FBA, Thompson St's H385/6FBA carried differing striping to each other and both were red. Delta 64 says that H383FBA was one of the first in red. K-VVU Leyland DAF were red but again with differing stipework. Agecrofts was definately red from new as I have a (poor quality)photo of it when new, which I cheekily took when asking for directions, Ah the pre Sat-Nav days.

Oh dear, how remiss of me. I forgot to say the first batch of non day-glow appliances in GMCFS were the Renault. Seems someone has pounced on my faux-pas.
