I have already posted a photo of a Ward La France at Yosemite taken in 2007, which has been identified as the engine used in the TV series Emergency, now in preservation at the Fire Museum LA. Is anyone able to identify the make of the engine in this pic?.... and perhaps its origin and current status?

Yes its a KME Predator Severe Service apparatus. LA County run primarily KME apparatus. All non-KME trucks they have were inherited from other departments when LACoFD took over service from other departments.
