1995 Mercedes-Benz 1124/Carmichael WrL.
The Amberley Fire & Emergency Services Show held at the Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre in Amberley, West Sussex during the weekend of 3rd and 4th July, 2010 always seems to bring something with a little sparkle to the show each year, so how about this for a little sparkler.
This appliance (reg-M646EMR) dates from 1995 and is a Mercedes-Benz 1124/Carmichael WrL (Water Ladder Rescue) that served the Wiltshire Fire Brigade and was supplied new to Westbury in 1996,and then Corsham Fire Station before finally coming out of service in 2009 and was actually the last Mercedes model held by the brigade.
The appliance,now in preservation was entered in the show by Simon and James Gunning.
