Fire Engines Photos

The Gotthard tunnel has a truck with a turntable platform below the chassis, so that it can literally spin 360 degrees once it reaches the fire scene. It also has on board oxygen, both for the crew and to supply air to the engine, as in the famous fire some years ago the oxygen level in the tunnel fell so low that vehicle engines all stalled out. This dual cab is a cheaper solution, but let's hope it never sees action.

I also had seen a single cab Scania fitted with the turntable underchassis unit in action on Youtube. Unfortunately i forget the place
