This appliance was bought by Lothian and Borders F&RS as a source of spare parts for their fleet of second hand Volvo / Metz TL`s. It was never used operationally by L&B.

They should have used it not the Volvo's.It was a good old truck very dependable,not the quickest but always got there.I was sorry to see it go to be replaced by a Volvo ALP.

They have also replaced one of the volvo TL's with another 2nd hand series 3 scania TL. They had bought a 3rd hand series 3 scanny prior to this but that too never went on the run.
