what does this pod actually do, because it cant be control as esfrs has just got new iveco icu's?

Hi dave telling the truth mate i aint got a clue but have a funny feeling that this may go to any big jobs that happen alone with the icu's

It will be used at all level 3 or level 4 incidents and above as a room for all the officers and other agencies to go and have a pow wow.It is all fitted out with radios computers and other control unit stuff so could be used as another control unit if the other smaller ones are off the run,I can't see it getting much use.

in my opinion totaly unecessary, dont esfrs have 2 icus anyway, they cant need much more than that sureley!

When the plans where 1st drawn up at jdc it was planed to be an Conference Pod to be used at any major jobs so not sure if its just a posh word for that.
