These were not really popular with municipal or county brigades - and were mainly used by factory brigades, except for Cornwall, which operated several.

They had a Coventry Climax 500 gpm pump, a 70 gallon tank, first aid hose reel and could accommodate four crew, ladders and a decent amount of kit.

Although not quite as useful off road as a Land Rover, they could manage country lanes and narrow village streets, and were it seems a handy and low cost fire tender in areas where bigger and more expensive units might have been a bit less versatile.
