Scania P310 Aerial Platform F345

Date: 28-12-09
The Hong Kong Fire Services Department started to introduce a new type of high-rise rescue appliance in Nov 2009 in an attempt to gradually replace the widely-used Simon Snorkel hydraulic platform , the production of which will cease in the near future.
The one shown is based on a Scania P310 with Gimaex bodywork and the boom can reach a maximum height of 19m. The six lockers at both sides contain hoses and tools. The pump outlets are located at the back.
This F345 came out from the workshop, probably for a road test.
