Dennis Rapier L668LUJ, formerly based at Craven Arms and new as a Rescue Pump at Whitchurch. Now owned by Chesham Fire Engine Services this was on call at Llandudno vintage rally on 2.5.2010. Many thanks to the crew for an enjoyable chat.

I used to drive this machine when it was based in Craven Arms. One of the fastest if not the fastest Fire engine in the county at the time

Drives really well too, i have been told. Its fitted with hand controls to be driven by one of the crew who has a physical inpairment. Told it drives like a transit!
