I must chip in, that this airport was formerly Jefferson County(Jeffco) Airport....designators ICAO 'KBJC' and IATA 'BJC'....midway between Denver and Boulder, State of Colorado, Southwestern USA.

Info for our international readers, and the airport's location name had me going, too.

From 'The Web': The Rocky Mountains(or "Rockies") are a major mountain chain in Western North America, some 2,980 miles [4,800 kilometers] from northern British Columbia province, southward to New Mexico state, US of A.; so,there are quite a few Rocky Mountain airports......

Great photo. 'North Metro' is Denver ?....

Regards, from Canada,
