1991 Duxford rally. RAF registration 28AG25. See picture 17768 for it in RAF times. North Weald is another second world war RAF station a few miles down the M11 from Duxford, also with a museum.

This appliance under went extensive rebuild to take away the Airblown foam system outand replaced by Aspirating Monitor and hand lines, Carried out by North weald Fire service.

I have just seen a picture of a similar vehicle with registration AWU 177K in the old hangar at RAF Ercall in Shropshire. It appears to be in good condition. The vehicle was apparently used at Leeds heliport after service with the RAF. The picture appears on an Urban Exploration website.
